I am moving to Farragut Tn in about 18 months to 2 years from New Jersey. I am renovating a house then and want to be able to put solar shingles on the roof; if I have to, solar panels. I want to begin advocating now for customer help from the State and and least be able to have the shingles/panels available for installation in 2014. It’s a disgrace that TN is so far behind in advocating for solar engery. That and mandatory recycling and rigid air quality standards, at least in Knox County.
